Duplex Strainers, BALL-PLEX® from HARTallow you to clean or change-out the dirty basket without stopping the process and with no leakage into the opened basket chamber. Duplex strainers provide a bubble tight seal to the “off-line” basket chamber, so they can be used on pump suction side, and with fuel oils etc.
Duplex Strainers, BALL-PLEX® from HART include O ring seals on the basket seat to insure against particulate by-pass caused by poor basket to body seal in conventional duplex strainers. Duplex Strainers are designed with a 3-way type ball valve requiring very low torque to turn from one basket chamber to the other -- this allows the use of a remote actuator so that switching to a clean basket can be automated with the addition of a Delta P switch.
